With plenty of clouds over the crater I tried heading west into the Kau desert. There, along the side of the highway, I got a spectacular view of the volcano's glow. I used a long exposure to get nice bright stars and the Milky Way colors. That long exposure also sculpted the clouds and created this beautiful shape. I love random art.
